MaintaraCMMS can be extended with customer-specific API and system integrations when your maintenance workflow needs to exchange data with equipment, monitoring platforms, MES, ERP, controls, or other business systems.
Use a custom integration to pass equipment events or condition information into a maintenance workflow when the source system can provide usable data.
Connect maintenance information with surrounding systems where a clear API, database, or supported interface exists.
API work is not assumed to be one-size-fits-all. Integration projects are designed, tested, and quoted separately for the systems involved.
MaintaraCMMS does not advertise a generic connector as if every plant uses the same equipment, MES, ERP, controls, or security architecture. Instead, API integrations are available as separately scoped customization projects. The goal is to build the connection around the customer’s actual workflow and the interfaces their systems expose.
Depending on the source system and available interfaces, an integration could exchange information with equipment monitoring, production systems, controls platforms, ERP or MES applications, or other business systems. A typical project starts by identifying what data should move, which system owns each field, how often the exchange should occur, and what should happen when the connection is unavailable.
Because MaintaraCMMS can run on infrastructure your organization controls, the integration design can be reviewed alongside your IT and security requirements. Authentication, network access, endpoint exposure, service accounts, and data flow can be planned for the environment in which the CMMS actually runs.
If a maintenance workflow is specific to your operation, customization can also include screens, reports, routing, fields, automation, labels, or other application behavior. Custom development is scoped separately from either MaintaraCMMS edition so the annual software license remains clear while specialized work is priced around the actual request.
The most useful integration discussion starts with the maintenance problem to solve: what event occurs, who needs to act, what record should be created or updated, and what information needs to come back. From there we can determine whether an API, database interface, file exchange, or another supported method is the right fit.
We can walk through your maintenance workflow, deployment needs, and any customer-specific configuration or integration requirements.
